My long time passion for stretching into my fullest potential eventually led me to coaching. The seeds of self-actualization first sprouted in high school when I learned about Transcendental Meditation, and how people levitated; that intrigued me to no end!
I’ve always been fascinated by people and relationships, which led to a double major at Stanford in Cultural Anthropology and Communications. What makes people tick, I’ve always wondered? Following a career in film production (feature films, commercials & TV series) I switched tracks to be a stay-at-home mom. When the children began to spread their wings I longed to return to work with people. This time, I would pursue my long imbedded value of personal growth, in a way that allowed me to connect deeply with like-minded people. The field of life coaching is that perfect opportunity for me: helping others to grow into their biggest and best selves.
My studies have been with the world renowned Coaches Training Institute (CTI), the largest in-person coach training organization in the world, and the first to be accredited by the International Coaches Federation. I began coaching in the fall of 2007 and I finished my certification with CTI in May of 2009. I am drawn to work with creative women at mid-life. I love helping them connect with their essence & spirit, in order to help them navigate the changes which lay before them.
On the personal side: I was born and raised in Marin County, where I live with my husband of 28 years. We have a daughter (27) and a son (23). I love to hike, swim, garden, cook, bake, eat, knit, laugh, travel and do yoga.
